Elimination of bad odors in a leachate pond with high-pressure equipment and fans

Biopulcher has developed a treatment for the elimination of industrial bad odors in a leachate pond, using a high-pressure system with fogging nozzles and fans installed on the perimeter of the facility.

This system allows the product application to be adapted according to the wind direction and the needs of each zone. For this project, the Biodor Control L (BCL) odor neutralizer was used, guaranteeing effective neutralization through a process of fine fogging that acts directly on the molecules responsible for the odor.

Operation of the system

The high-pressure system generates ultrafine micro-droplets that are uniformly dispersed over the surface of the pond or in specific areas where odors are concentrated. The fans distribute the product homogeneously, achieving complete coverage and efficient control of olfactory contamination.

The treatment is performed periodically, adjusting the frequency according to the time of year and the filling level of the pond. Furthermore, the equipment allows programming automatic start and stop sequences, optimizing product consumption and maximizing effectiveness.

Results and sustainability

The application of Biodor Control L (BCL) has allowed a notable reduction in the generated odors, improving air quality and reducing the environmental impact.
