Operation on a ground

Decontamination of an accidental oil spill on soil through bioremediation

2014

In this case Biopulcher managed the treatment of about 600 liters of diesel oil that were accidentally dumped on a small land.

When treatment was carried out on land highly saturated with contaminants, the first operation of turning the soil was mechanical,: it consists of removing the soil to a depth of about 30-40 cm in order to oxygenate it as in any crop. The inoculum was then poured through a shower mechanism so that it soaks the soil.

The inoculation was repeated and the soil was turned over again.
